Wild Pollinator Count

Stuck at home these school holidays and looking for something un-BEE-lievably fun to do?

Why not get involved with citizen science in your own backyard, local bushland or wetland! You can help with this year's Wild Pollinator Count and help collect data on wild pollinator insects in your region. 

The Wild Pollinator Count gives you an opportunity to contribute to wild pollinator insect conservation in Australia. We invite you to count wild pollinators in your local environment and help us build a database on wild pollinator activity.
You can join in by watching any flowering plant for just ten minutes between 12-19 April 2020.

• You don’t need to be an insect expert.
• You don’t need fancy gear.
• You may be surprised by what you see!

Once you have collected your results, you can fill in the online form at the Wild Pollinator Count website or you can drop the forms into the Dandaragan CRC outside library box.  Now as a citizen scientist you can be proud of the help you have volunteered to this project, THANK YOU for your support.
